| NAME: Bianca Carducci. NICKNAME: B. AGE/BIRTHDAY: 26, March 16th. AFFILIATION: Italian. MOB STATUS: Daughter to a mobster [TBD]. SEXUAL PREFERENCE: Heterosexual. | |
| Pretty much your average female, Bianca has her “blonde days” as wells as the PMS crazed ones. Most of the time she’s a pretty happy person with a positive outlook on life. She loves her job, her family and her friends and she definitely has a glow about her. With Bianca, work and play are pretty evenly balanced, or at least she tries to keep it that way. When she’s at work, that’s it. There’s no funny business and she is very serious and determined to make sure she does the best job she can possibly do. On the flip side, she tries to stay the same during her free time. When she’s not at the hotel, she tries not to talk about the hotel unless her parents or a close friend as for an update and even then she keeps it brief. Keeping both aspects of her life separate work for her and if it’s not broken, then why fix it? When Bianca loves, it’s right down to the tips of her toes. She’s fiercely loyal to her family and does her best to put them before everything else in her life. There’s no doubting the fact that she’s a daddy’s girl and to be honest, she likes it just fine. While she wouldn’t go as far as calling herself spoiled, she wouldn’t exactly turn down any gifts either. Bianca might have had a comfortable childhood growing up, but she knows that she has worked her ass off to get where she is today…even if her last name might have given her a leg up in the beginning. | |

| The second and last to be born to the Carducci’s, Bianca was a blessing her mother wasn’t sure could happen. After the birth of her son Marco, the doctor’s warned her about the dangers of trying to conceive again. The delivery had been a long and difficult one and Isabella had ended up losing a lot of blood. “It happens,” they told her but she refused to listen. She had given her husband the son he longed for and she wanted the daughter she had always dreamt about. Luckily that day came and one crisp March morning, Bianca came into the world. Bianca’s birth was just as difficult as her brother’s and eventually she had to be delivered via an emergency C-section. Both mother and child spent over a week in the hospital but eventually they were released and sent home. In the beginning, the Carducci family lived very modestly. Coupons were clipped and lasagna was often served all week long. But it was what it was and both children were loved and doted upon as best their parents could. Over the years, however, life in the Carducci home began to look up. When Bianca was five, they moved out of their small apartment and into a two-bedroom home. A few years later they moved again and upgraded to a three-bedroom. The one thing Bianca could always remember, was that the presents at Christmas and her birthday always seemed to increase in numbers the older she got. Not wanting to look a gift horse in the mouth and being too young to really question it, the only explanation she ever heard was that her father had a head for the finances and did well at his job. By the time she reached high school, her family had moved into a large home with an expansive backyard and a lush front lawn. If there was something that either sibling needed, it was provided and if they wanted it, it was as good as theirs in the end. Some might have called that spoiled but Bianca thought of it as being loved. Very loved. Even though she had never really stopped to question her father’s good fortune, didn’t mean that she was completely naïve or oblivious. Being as close as they were, she noticed when he would come home at night with bruised knuckles or a little blood on his shirt. And then of course there was Antonio Morelli, her father’s “boss.” In normal households when the boss would be invited over for dinner, the wife would make sure everything was nice and neat and the children were behaved. Then he would come over and there would be talk about stuff that no one was really interested in and at the end of the evening, he would take his leave. When Mr. Morelli came over, there were always a few extra men with him. Two would sit during dinner and one would wait outside as if watching for something. After dinner, all the men would disappear into her father’s study for a while and when they left, the suitcase that usually came inside with them, didn’t always leave with them. Bianca knew that her brother knew what was going on but if she ever asked, he would just brush her off and tell her it was better if she didn’t ask questions. So she didn’t. Maybe it was selfish on her part, but her father seemed happy and her mother definitely was so what was the problem, really? Besides, it was through Mr. Morelli that Bianca had discovered what she wanted to do with her life. On the eve of her brother’s graduation from high school, there was a large party held at a swanky hotel downtown. Everything was decorated and beautiful and Bianca instantly fell in love with the place. While everyone was dancing or mingling and having a good time, Bianca found herself watching the hotel’s manager. There was an ear piece in his ear and this air of confidence about him as he dealt with a dozen different people all at once. It was amazing to watch and in that night, she discovered what her passion in life would be. When she announced that she had figured out what she wanted to do with her life, her father and mother were both pleased and vowed to help her reach that goal. For the two summer’s she had left before college, her father worked his connections and got her internships at some of the nicer hotels in the city. On weekends during the school year, she held a job as the assistant to the events coordinator at the Hotel Rome. It was a dream job to have and even though she didn’t have to work for the money, she loved it for the experience. After high school, she stayed closed to home and attended Roosevelt University, which was known for its Hospitality program. Her father enjoyed this prospect a lot because it meant keeping his baby girl somewhere he could keep an eye on her and that suited both of them just fine. Once she finished school and received her Bachelors, she stuck around for another two years and obtained her Masters. After that, it was time to start her career. As luck would have it, just as she finished up at school, the manager for Hotel Rome left (or disappeared, she’s not quite sure) and she was offered the position almost on the spot. While she wanted to believe that she got the job because of all of her hard work and dedication over the years, she couldn’t help but notice the number of business meetings Mr. Morelli held there and more than that, just how many her father attended. A year into her employment at the hotel, Bianca finally decided to move out of her father’s home and get an apartment of her own. Of course her father helped her pick the building and neighborhood and the rent really was quite affordable for such a nice place but…it was what it was. She was happy and, for the most part, making it on her own and that was really all that mattered. | |
